This family of eight experience the emotion of the vast destruction due to man's wickedness. They are struck with the awesome responsibility to teach the next generation about God and His ways.
Teaching about God's creation is a secondary theme seen in the animal world which continually gives scientific proof of a creator! Petting Zoo is a great addition! Recommended reading and viewing: Evolution of a Creationist, Dr. Jobe Martin

Mission Trips
Victors in Christ, Famiy Youth Ministry, has taken several life-changing mission trips:
- COLORADO 1999 - "Navajo 9-99"
- Christian Discipleship Center exists to disciple Christian Native American men teaching God's Word in order to resist the temptations of addictions that confront them daily. Missionary Joe Mehesy hosted our team of 18 and assigned us the task of building a much needed addition to their facilities. Given 100 year-old wood, we made 2 x 4's and raised the structure complete with roof in two weeks.
- WOODSIDE, QUEENS, NY - "Big Apple 2000"
- 146 Nations are represented in this community. Woodside Community Church (Baptist) housed and trained us for work in this vast mission field. Missionary Kent Sager with ABWE was our team guide. Tract distribution in apartment buildings and in surrounding neighborhoods as well as VBS filled our two week stay.
- WOODSIDE, QUEENS, NY - "Big Apple 2001"
Some of the group on top of the World Trade Center | With further training in evangelism, our team ascended many elevators and descended many steps in distributing God's Word and invitations to church in the Flushing, Queens, neighborhoods. VBS and tract distribution filled our two weeks. The team's greatest impression was having passed out tracts in and on top of the twin towers of the World Trade Center months before their destruction.
- WOODSIDE, QUEENS, NY 2002 - "To America with Love"
- Fifty two
The group of 50+ | members of RBC filled with hearts of compassion for the city which had experienced great loss and terror made up this summer's mission team. Visits to Fire Stations to sing, share God's Word and sympathize with their great losses was a privilege and blessing. VBS and tract distribution using the WHY? Tract on the streets of downtown New York City provided ample opportunities for ministry. VBS highlighted heros of our day as well as heros of history and heros of faith found in Hebrews 11.
- WOODSIDE, QUEENS, NY 2003 "Good News for America"
- Donned in bright orange shirts, having printed our own tract entitled "Ground Zero's Glory" comparing the cross found in the rubble of the twin towers with the cross of Jesus, we distributed about 150,000 during our two week stay. (More of the 200,000 first printing were distributed during a follow up trip on the September 11th anniversary.) More visits to Fire Stations and the evening VBS utilized several simple methods of evangelism to spread the Good News of salvation.
- FRANKLIN SQUARE, NY 2004 "Big Apple V"
- The church (Grace Baptist Church) begun by Missionary Pastor Kent Sager of ABWE was given a building and now the neighborhood needed the Word. Door to door literature distribution and surveys comprised this year's mission. Bible Story time in public parks and the first VBS for this new work provided additional outreach.
- FRANKLIN SQUARE, NY 2006 "Victors Alive"
The group in central park | Daily trips to downtown NY for tract distribution of a reprinted "Ground Zero's Glory" and VBS in the evenings provided much ministry for the team of 14. Included this year were teens from Grace Baptist Church assisting in the mission, growing the team to 19. Safety green shirts made the team easy to spot! Click here to see more pictures.
